Rep Kelly Morrison (MN House, 33B) has rescheduled her 2 town hall listening sessions (postponed due to weather). I encourage you to share this notice with others; please attend, bring family, friends, and neighbors. The first session in Shorewood was an energizing experience with an engaged cross-section of individuals in our district – such a broad range of topics.
Kelly is working every day for us all! As I’m sure you all know, Kelly is on 4 committees: Vice Chair of Health and Human Services Policy, Early Childhood Finance and Policy, Environment and Natural Resources Finance, and Water Division. She has already chief authored 19 bills and co-authored an additional 55 bills. She is working on a broad spectrum of areas: women’s health, prescription drug cost/transparency, mental health protections, pollinator grants, essential gun violence prevention bills, healthcare initiatives, paid family leave, broadband access, etc.
It is so great to see so many constituents engaging with Rep. Morrison every day and she has had the opportunity to welcome many of you at the Capitol.
If you haven’t already, I encourage you to sign up for Kelly’s legislative updates at https://www.house.leg.state.mn.us/members/profile/15503. Take a look at her weekly updates and the bills on which she is working.
Stay warm and hope to see you on the 23rd!
Chair, SD33 DFL
